Our executive Director

Robert Valdez

Robert Valdez joined the House of Hope in August 2022 and serves as the Executive Director. He oversees and manages the day to day operation of both men and women transition homes. Robert leads and manages the House of Hope ministry leveraging his broad and comprehensive knowledge of ALL matters relating with formerly and currently incarcerated men and women leading them through a path of success. This path of success is well known to Robert. After living a lifestyle of addiction and crime, Robert ended up with three years mandatory in prison. While incarcerated, half way through this time, Robert had a powerful encounter with Jesus where his life was transformed and changed. In 2003, Robert was released from prison and went into the House of Hope. This was the place where he was given encouragement and hope in one of the most crucial defining moments of his life. After completing the program, Robert had meaningful employment at a living wage, and connected to a local church where he met mentors that would help him stay focused and encouraged to look forward to his new life.

Robert became actively involved in his church and began to be used in different levels of leadership. He received his pastoral credentials at Global University in affiliation with the Assemblies of God. He worked at Greenhouse church South Florida campus for three years as their Associate Pastor.

Robert served as a volunteer for the Department of Corrections for over ten years where he established the prison ministry “Casting the Net Ministries” a non-profit that focuses on going into prisons teaching relevant, gospel-centered messages to encourage inmates to change their lives.

Robert and his wife, Karina, have been married for 19 years and are proud parents of four kids, Robert Jr, Isabella, Anna, and Daniel.
